Let's find the right fit — and start there.
New River Healing offers both clinical therapy and somatic coaching. Reach out to the right person below — both offer a free initial consultation, no commitment required.
Two practitioners. One practice.
Reach out directly to the person whose work fits what you're looking for. Not sure? Either of us are happy to help you figure that out.
Individual therapy for anxiety, trauma, depression, and ADHD. EMDR, CBT, and mindfulness-based approaches. Also accepting supervisees.
Coaching rooted in self-leadership — because you can't lead others until you learn to lead yourself. Leaders who regulate well create safety for those around them, and better results from everyone they lead.
Free initial consultation: Both Nathan and Stephanie offer a brief 15–20 minute call before any commitment. No intake forms, no pressure — just a conversation about fit.
Virginia plans we currently accept.
Nathan is in-network with 36 Virginia insurance plans. Coaching with Stephanie is self-pay. Search below to check your plan.

A quick guide.
Choose therapy with Nathan if you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, or relationship struggles — or if you need a diagnosis, a clinical assessment, or insurance billing. Nathan is a licensed clinician and can provide EMDR, CBT, and clinical supervision for other therapists.
Choose coaching with Stephanie if you're a leader — or someone who leads in any capacity — and you want to show up more effectively by starting with yourself. Her integrative approach is rooted in self-leadership: the idea that regulated, self-aware leaders create safety and bring out the best in those around them. Coaching is not therapy and is not covered by insurance.
Still not sure? Email either of us — we'll point you in the right direction.
